Zone 9 command PRO loses mother-in-law

The Police Public Relations Officer of Zone 9 Police Command, Umuahia, Kingsley Iredibia, has lost his mother-in-law, Madam Maria Nnah, to the cold hands of death. Madam Nnah, who hailed from Umuokwere, Okwu Autonomous Community, Ogbaku Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, died at the ripe age of 90 at the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, after a brief illness. Until her demise, Madam Nnah was the daughter of a foremost traditional ruler in Obudi Agwa Kingdom, late Eze Joseph Uzoma, but married into the Nnah dynasty in Okwu Autonomous Community, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State. During her active days, she was a community leader and a model Christian of the Catholic denomination, who used her position and wealth of experiences to galvanise Okwu Autonomous Community and her immediate family into one indivisible unity. The socialite, towards the later part of her life, became a notable moral counsellor, character moulder and role model for old and young persons who came across her while alive.

According to a statement released by her son, Christian Nnah, her remains will be buried on January 7, 2022 at her family compound, Umuokwere Okwu Autonomous Community Ogbaku Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State.
